Made it into Macedonia
We arrived in Macedonia on Monday evening. Since then we met with Steve, who is our main contact here, and for the last few days we’ve taken time to be orientated about Macedonia, and the things that we will be doing here.
On the border between Kosovo and Macedonia, Suzy (one of our staff member) wasn’t allowed to go through because of visa problems, and is unfortunately now heading back to England as the problem could not be resolved. Pray for her safe travels
As stated in Sunday’s video, our team has now been divided into two groups: Charissa, Alyssa, Phil & Mark are in Kratovo and the rest are spending the rest outreach in Tetovo. We will continue to keep you updated as things progress here in Macedonia. Thank you all for supporting us, and please keep praying for our time here.
God bless,
The Whole DTS Team
This is a quick rundown of the last few weeks here in Kosovo. We head out, February 6, but we wanted to give you an update before we left. Videos from this point on will be limited as we are splitting up, but you can continue to see our updates through the blog, as we will be updating that a few times a week.
Week 5 of our outreach done with interviews by the team. Lots more than what is here has happened, but amount of ministry prevents as much filming to be done. Keep praying for us. Sleep and sickness are two big ones at the moment. God bless you all.
Week Update
Greetings Everyone,
Life has been crazy here, and last weeks video is on the way, but until then, let me tell you what has been going on this week. We went out of Pristina for the 1st time to the city of Decan. While we were there we got a chance to had out some clothes, and talk with some of the people from a small village there. Through talking and praying for them, three of them gave their lives to Christ. And in addition to that we got a chance to pray for and encourage some of the local believers in the area.
I (Wayne) speak for the rest of the team when I say that this what it is all about. It makes all the late nights, early mornings, and sickness all the worth while. Please be praying as we continue farther into outreach. We still struggle sometimes to deal with all that is going around us, but we know that God is with us, and that all will be ok.
Many thanks,
The SeptDTS2011 Team
